Programs
A program is a fund for one kind of care. Donors choose a program to give to. Members join a program to be covered. Clinics are accredited for it. Anyone can read about each program, without signing in.
What a program is
Every gift goes into one program, and every cover belongs to one program. Each program has its own rules:
- Covered services. The list of treatments or items it pays for.
- Requirements. What a member must confirm, write or upload to join.
- Accredited clinics. The clinics and hospitals that may check cover and claim for it.
- Platform fee. The share of each approved claim that IntriFund keeps to run the program. It is shown on the program’s public page.
- Application window. The dates when members can ask to join.
The two programs today
- Medical Mission (MM)
- Care close to home for people who cannot afford it. It pays partner clinics for consultations and treatment.
- Dot Glasses (DG)
- Glasses that adjust themselves to the wearer’s own vision. Because they adjust themselves, they can be handed over at a partner clinic. The clinic is paid after each hand-over has been checked.
More programs can be added by IntriFund managers at any time. The list on the Programs page is always the current one.
Read about a program
The Programs page shows one card per open program with two numbers: treatments funded and the amount raised so far. Choose Learn more to open the program’s own page, or Give to this program to start a gift. The same pages are inside the donor portal, under Programs, and the cards slide across the donor home page.
Program pages are made for phones too. A donor can read about a program and press Give to this program with one thumb.
How impact is shown
A program page is built from the public ledger. Nothing on it is typed in by hand, so it cannot drift from the real figures.
